Research is integral to the practice and informs our designs. We have, since the beginning, initiated interdisciplinary collaborations with academic institutions across a variety of industries. Currently Karim is appointed as associate professor at the American University of Beirut and Rames chairs as professor the Institute of Building Technology at the Innsbruck University of Technology.

With a team of dynamic architects and engineers, we continue to passionately push the boundaries of our field to explore new and exciting territories. Through our interest in researching high-performance, dynamically responsive architecture, we have explored naval design, kinetic structures, facade systems, and climatically responsive design.

With the firm belief that architecture exists in service of humanity, we are dedicated to engaging in public interest design for marginalized communities. We therefore strive to apply our expertise in advanced, design integrated systems to the creations of resilient emergency architecture, the rehabilitation and reconstruction of crisis areas.
