This building aims to combine the traditional architectural tradition of the region with the comforts and luxuries of contemporary life. The exterior of the building is closed off, in response to the harsh conditions of the desert climate, while the interiors are opened to courtyards and gardens. The private family areas are located in the central volume across two floors and above a central hall. These areas are connected to the eastern wings for receptions that can host up to 400 guests. This lateral distribution of functions allows the owner to separate his private modern life from traditional events and social obligations.
